The NovaStar ET16S-G is the flagship of the ET Series: a 4U media server with Intel Xeon Gold processors, ECC memory and two to four HPG4000 graphics cards, for canvases up to 16K×8K. Frame-synchronized outputs, sync between servers, LTC/MTC timecode and dual-server backup make it a fit for large outdoor advertising screens, naked-eye 3D displays, immersive rooms, data centers and big exhibition shows. It comes with Kompass FX3 media control software (license dongle included). For smaller shows, see the ET4S-G.

- Playback: 12 layers per graphics card (up to 48) + 1 audio layer; up to 4 layers of 8K×4K@60 (hardware decoding)
- Formats: H.264, H.265, AV1, ProRes, VP9 and more; image sequences in BMP, TIFF, TGA, JPG and PNG
- Mapping: free partitioning, reorganizing and rotating of outputs; up to 64 partitions per output
- Sync: frame sync across multiple servers with the sync card (2x RJ45 frame lock, 1x BNC external sync); LTC and MTC timecode input; dual-server backup
