NovaStar KU20 is the most compact controller in the NovaStar COEX series. It takes one HDMI 1.3 source (with loop through) and drives up to 3.9 million pixels over 6 Gigabit Ethernet ports or one 10G fiber output, set up and run from NovaStar's VMP software.

Inputs and outputs: 1x HDMI 1.3 input with loop through (up to 1920×1200@60Hz), 6x Gigabit Ethernet ports with hot backup (up to 3.9 million pixels) and 1x 10G optical output.
Calibration: pixel-level brightness and chroma calibration with NovaStar's calibration system.
Image Scaling: custom and pixel to pixel (All-In-One Controller mode).
No Rectangle Restriction: blank pixels on irregular screens don't count against load capacity.
Frame Rate Adaptive: decimal and custom frame rates with a step as small as 0.01 Hz.
System Monitoring: device and screen status with notifications for faults and alarms.
Two Working Modes: All-In-One Controller mode (layer and scaling) and Send-Only Controller mode.
VMP Software: connects to NovaStar's Vision Management Platform (VMP) for easy operation and device management.
Cascading via Ethernet: TCP/IP control ports in star topology, so several units can share a LAN without extra switches.
Function Limitations:
- Frame Rate Adaptive needs A10s Pro receiving cards, specific driver ICs and an NCP file from NovaStar's Cabinet Tool.
- Full Grayscale Calibration needs A10s Pro receiving cards.
- Output is 8-bit; 10-bit output needs a customized program and A10s Pro receiving cards.
- For low latency, all Ethernet ports must load cabinets vertically with the same Y coordinate.
- Interlaced input is not supported.
